I toured the caves of Moravsky Kras in the Czech Republic with a kindergarten class. They were amazing caves but what was more amazing to me were all these kids trudging up and down in the dark with almost no help from the teachers! Kudos to them! Not something we see much of in North America!
The tour ended at an overlook of the lush and green Macocha Abyss which is the biggest gorge of its kind in the Czech Republic. Normally there is a boat cruise through the caves which ends at the bottom of the gorge but I was there during the 2013 floods so could only view it from the top.
